Zoo Fascination

I am fascinated with a place in our town that has become a major tourist destination here in Vigan... the Baluarte.. Baluarte is an Ilocano term that means turf (i think), it is owned by our former Governor Chavit Singson. What fascinates me about this place is that they keep changing and adding animals in their zoo. Also, that they are able to keep this animals that are not native to this country. They have this little horses, llamas, wallabees (before), deers, a lion, tigers, siberian huskies, pot-bellied pigs, meerkats and some other rodents, ostriches, a butterfly sanctuary and an assortment of birds, kulang na lang ng giraffe at elepante! hahaha! What's also fun about this place is, its like a petting zoo where you can get near some of the animals and touch them. Some lang ha. (Well we did touch one of the tigers before. He was out but in a chain and his handler said he was quite tame, maybe because he was still a kid).
This summer, my sisters and I went there to show my ate around. The picture was taken from when we were feeding the llama. It was a llama family, they even had a small kid. The baby was so kawawa because whenever we try to feed it, aagawin ng dad nya (or was it its mom)? It was such a happy day for us because we are rarely together. My ate resides in manila and me and my twin, here in Vigan. We loved being together and taking pictures and feeling like we were kids again.

I think that we had the best summer bonding moments this year.
We were always together, something we haven't done in a long while
