My friends have never understood my addiction to scraping. They were aghast when they peaked at the online stores I was browsing because everything was so expensive. Needless to say, I don't have any scrapping friends in my area. What the heck! I scrap because I find scrapping a good therapy. It takes my mind of worries and lets me show my creative side. I recently joined this scrapping challenge and I really wanted to win (notwithstanding that I was a beginner) because I wanted to win prizes. Hahaha! Yes, I wanted to win for the prices, I didn't want the fame, the accolades, or the adulation... just the prizes. LOL
Sadly, as expected, I didn't win. I was disappointed. I can't join any challenges for now because I don't have the funds to buy the required materials. It is disappointing. But who am I kidding? The first chance I get to compete again, I would. That's how addicted I am. It doesn't matter that people liked my work, what matters is, i enjoyed doing it. For me, the challenge is making layouts with rules. You have to come out with layouts using such and such materials, with these and those embellishments, etc. etc.
And when I finally get a hold of those prizes? Come on, you can never win enough scrapping goodies. Hehehe! If I win, the goal doesn't stop there... I still would be off for more and more prizes... greedy! greedy! LOL Oh well, that is if I get the funds to start joining again.
Hi. Just continue creating and posting your LOs whether as response to challenges or to share with others. Good luck.
